Senior Client Managers/Client Managers report to a Client Director and work as part of a wider client service team, overseen by the Global Head of Client Partnerships as well as Global and Regional Managing Directors.
EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
+3 years of branding experience that spans different markets, categories and industries; must include working with brands in the alcohol, personal care/beauty and luxury sectors.
A proven track record of success working with both established and entrepreneurial brands in delivering strategically driven creative brand solutions with an emphasis on 2D/3D packaging, identity and innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership: You will lead by example and build strong relationships with members of the client service team as well with other teams within JDO to create a collaborative, supportive culture.
Project Management: You will provide support to Client Directors on major projects while also leading your own projects autonomously. Rest assured, however, that you always be supported by senior members of the client service team and be able to seek counsel and advice on any and all matters.
Client Advocacy: You will take and interrogate client briefs, asking the right questions to get to the heart of the challenge. As a proxy for the client, you’ll ensure design solutions properly fulfil the needs of the brief.
Strategic Thinking: You will collaborate with the strategy team in providing quality thinking on projects. You’ll keep yourself informed about your client’s brands as well as category dynamics to ensure you are able to speak with expertise and confidence.
Business Understanding: You will hone your skills in drafting project proposals that properly align process, timing and costs to deliver high-quality work whilst also demonstrating value for money.
Client Development: You will keep your eyes open and your ears to the ground for opportunities to grow your client accounts
Financial Management & Accountability: You will be commercially driven to deliver projects on budget and on time.
Mentorship: You make it a personal point of pride to help junior members of your team develop their skills and understanding of the creative industry to maximize their potential and help them thrive at JDO and beyond.

JDO UK
JDO UK is comprised of two studios – our HQ in the beautiful historical town of Royal Tunbridge Wells and the other in heart of Central London. Though each member of our team is officially based at one of these studios, we all work together as a united front. In moving between these two locations, JDO team members benefit from a periodic change of scene, whilst also giving us the opportunity to cross pollinate ideas and support one other to deliver the strongest creativity possible.
